Flicker
The Flicker trail is a firm, relatively easy, dirt trail suitable for hikers, bikers, and equestrians. Only 1/4 mile long, the trail provides access from the Sand Cove trailhead parking area to the Sand Cove Access road. The access road, a rough and unmaintained jeep route, then continues on to the popular Sand Cove primitive recreation site with trailheads for the Arch, Sidewinder, and Sandstone Mountain trails. Because the trail drops off into a deep wash before joining the access road, visitors will experience about a 40 foot elevation change at the east end of the trail.
